Petrosoft Announces Enhanced Security on Document Scanner Software
Petrosoft has upgraded to our invoice scanner software to improve security and accuracy in our data processing system. The software will now ask the user for the store name as well as account ID in order to establish more accurate processing of customer invoices in C-Store Office.
Petrosoft maintains a full service data processing center to process the customer's paper invoices into electronic documents that provide item-level invoice data to the customer. Customers use Petrosoft Document Scanner Software to transfer scanned images of paper invoices to the document archive on their C-Store Office web site. Petrosoft technicians upload the scanned invoice images, key in the invoice data at item-level and create an electronic invoice that is then placed into the customer's pending invoice file automatically. Using this full-service option, C-Store Office customers can track purchases and inventory movement at item-level wihtout ever processing an invoice themselves!
C-Store Office now PCI-compliant on the Wayne Nucleus Register
Petrosoft announces that the C-Store Office internet-based back office system is now PCI-compliant on the Wayne Nucleus POS system. Although Petrosoft has more than five years of experience in working with the Nucleus register, we recently reconfigured the register interface to take full advantage of Nucleus Black Pipe security features and meet the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council's data protection requirements.
The C-Store Office back office system works Wayne Nucleus registers as well as other popular registers in the fuel sales environment from VeriFone and Gilbarco.
Petrosoft Announces Internet-Based Fuel Distribution System
Huntington Valley, Pa., October 8, 2006 – Petrosoft Incorporated, of Huntington Valley, Pa., has announced the release of Fuel-Central.com™, an internet-based fuel distribution management system designed for fuel distributors of virtually any size. The new service will launch at the National Convenience Store Association Trade Show in Las Vegas, October 9-11, 2006. It is also being showcased in the “Cool New Products” exhibit at NACS.
Sergei Gorlov, president of Petrosoft, says that Fuel-Central.com represents a breakthrough in efficiency and improved communication for fuel distributors. “Fuel-Central puts the whole distribution chain online,” says Gorlov, “so that information flows to everyone, from the major oil company to the distributor, and from the distributor to their customer. Everybody enjoys the ability to communicate better–and that saves everybody money.”
Fuel-Central.com is totally internet-based. The system uses e-commerce technologies to allow distributors to order fuel electronically, and review purchases, payables and credit card transaction records online. Distributors have the option to set prices automatically; according to formulas they enter into Fuel-Central’s database themselves. Delivery routes can be optimized in the system to minimize driver downtime and help customers manage their inventories better. The system also has tools that allow the distributor to project sales weeks in advance to manage purchase strategies better and capitalize on price fluctuations as they arise.
Fuel Central.com makes life easier for customers, too. Customers can order online, or by traditional telephone orders, if they like. They can also view their account histories online and see pricing, invoices and account status information by simply accessing the distributor’s Fuel-Central.com website.
Petrosoft also offers C-Store Office.com, a complete, internet-based back office system designed solely for the convenience store. Fuel-Central.com integrates 100% with C-Store office, so that companies that make use of both offerings gain efficiencies throughout the distribution chain.
“It’s an end-to-end business solution,” says Sergei Gorlov, “that saves time and money every step of the way.”
